Special Education information

Special Education Bulletins

Special Education laws change and evole at a fast pace and it is difficult for teachers and students families to keep up with all the new information.

The Wisconsin Department of Education keeps a list of all the changes regarding the field of Special Education. This information is received as bulletins.

I have encluded this on my website as a way to keep myself and students families educated as the laws and or rules change.

I have posted the bulletins here for easy acess for myself, fellow teachers, and students families to share and review.

I have also highlighted infomation that I feel is important to note, changed or new.

Information Update Bulletin Index

This index lists the most current bulletins first.
Some bulletins have been retired because of inaccurate and/or outdated information.
As a result, there are gaps in the numbering of the bulletins.

These bulletins contain information still useful.
However, please use caution regarding the legal information as it may have changed with the passage of IDEA 04.
When final federal regulations are completed, the special education team will be revising these bulletins to bring them into compliance with statutory changes.
